There's nothing special about making paper leaves. Well, that's what I thought until I learned this new trick! All you need to do is- fold a piece of paper, draw a pattern (this is the tricky and exciting part!), and see how the leaf turns out when you complete the rest of the steps.

Follow this ible and find out how to make these fun paper leaves with the help of the same technique!

To make these leaves you will need:

  • Craft paper,

  • Pencil,

  • Scissors,

  • Craft glue.

How to make Paper Leaf

Once you’ve picked out your paper and assembled all the supplies you’ll need for this DIY, you can get started immediately!

Step 1

For this DIY project, consider working on a flat surface to help you fold and crease the paper effectively. Bring one end of the paper over to the other side, folding it diagonally over.

Take a square size paper and cut it diagonally to create 2 triangles.

Make sure that the ends overlap each other, as shown below.

Step 2

Make small and even accordion folds on any one of the triangle papers.

Step 3

Hold the center of the folded paper and squeeze it gently to bring the center folds together.

Step 4

Apply glue along any one side of the inner fold and join the inner sides to form the leaf. Allow the glue to dry.

There you go, your DIY paper flower is ready. You can make and store a ton of these flowers to use later.
